Quick Up Date

No baby yet...but I am feeling pretty good and I don't mind just waiting until he is ready to come (at this point). I don't think I will post a picture of my belly anymore because I think it is pretty much the same. Cross your fingers for me!

Baby Showers and other stuff...

I have been so blessed to receive a lot of baby stuff from my sisters and to have 2 baby showers!! We are totally set and I feel a little guilty but very blesses and grateful for all that we have been given!! Here are a few pictures from the baby shower I had at my mom's house in Layton. I love this one! We played a game where you had to smell the diaper and guess what food was in it! (There were things like corn, beans, vanilla, etc. -all food items, no real poop :) This is my sister Tara, my mom and my niece, Ariel. We played another game where we made babies out of Starbursts. Mine is the one in the middle front that looks like an alien!! This is from the shower that I had in Springville with some friends. It is a diaper cake that someone make for me! Cool stuff, huh? Lots of people gave me money so that I could buy a rocking chair! I am pretty excited about it!

We are getting pretty excited and all we need now is the baby! Check out the stack of diapers in the coroner!

Any time now...could be days...could be weeks. But at least I know it won't be months!

37 Weeks!

I have been looking at some of the pictures that I have taken as I have gone throught my pregnancy. Here I am at 16 weeks. I remember I felt SO big!! That's kind of funny now... And here I am at 24 weeks...

31 Weeks...

And now here I am at 37 weeks!

Do you think I will get much bigger?

Useful comebacks to rude pregnancy comments

- "At least I made somebody's heart and brain today. What did you do?"

I am sure that you have all been worried sick about me with this whole car seat problem. Don't worry, you can rest easy now, I FINALLY made up my mind!

And I love it!! I think it is pretty gender neutral looking and I can't wait to see out little boy in it!!

I'm going car seat crazy

So I have been looking around for a car seat...who knew this would be so hard. Do I want the "z" shaped handle or not? What brand? How much am I willing to spend? I just don't know. I want one that we could use for a boy or girl so that also limits things. I tend to want it to be "cute" and Nate thinks that is silly. I have been trying to look at reviews and make a good decision but I am just not sure. I have even been dreaming about car seats the last two nights. Sad, huh? I just want to get one at this point and be done with it. I am sure you all have a different opinion on the matter and I am open to your idea.

So far, I have seen really good reviews on this Evenflo - Embrace for $94.88

What do you think of this one? Is it for a girl or a boy???

Happy 4th of July!

Well, it's not Hawaii or a cruse, but to me it is one of the best vacation spots in the world...my Grandparent's cabin! It was wonderful to be able to take Nate up there for a few days, just the two of us! I have so many happy memories from our trips there as I was growing up. We read our books, played ping pong, took naps, went on walks, watched movies, ate good food, roasted marsh mellows, (my personal favorite part) and just had a great time. The cabin is close to Logan as well so we were able to walk around Utah State campus and reminisce about our good ol' college and dating days. It was wonderful!

On Saturday, for the 4th, we were in Layton. We spend most of the day with my family hanging out at Layton Park. It was a great day and a great weekend!
