spelling...not my strong point

Don't worry, I found out that there is a spell checker on these blog things! Not that that will completely solve the problem but it will help!

How life is...

Well, life is wonderful. Nate and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary. We both agree that we have never been happier than in these last few years that we have had each other. Nate is working at Flowserve and enjoys that most of the time. It is a big company and so he has to deal with a lot of politics that he really doesn’t like. But that’s work for ya! He is a brilliant man and does a lot of great work for the company! He also has started his own business making things and selling them to a company that sells electronics and kits to schools. His recent accomplishments include designing a little electronics board that does all kinds of cool stuff. I would love to delight you with all of the details but I really wouldn’t know what I was talking about. So I will get him to scribe the details at a later date. But the board is cool and he is excited about making some money for his company! He has also made an alarm clock and a robot and some other things that I can’t remember right now. Cool stuff! I am so proud of him! Me…I am sure you are all dying to know more about me. Well..as most of you know, I just made it through my first year of teaching Jr. High and I am still alive!! Yahoo! It was a crazy and stressful year and I am glad it is over. I am looking forward to correcting my mistakes and hopefully making next year a lot better. I will be teaching the same subjects: Foods and Nutrition, Clothing, Teen Living and CTE intro. Fun stuff! I love teaching (most of the time)! For now however, I am enjoying one of the little perks of being a teacher and that is SUMMER VACATION! This is the first time since I was about 12 that I have had a work free summer and I am loving it! Don’t worry, I am staying very busy doing this and that around the house, everything that I don’t have time for during the school year. I have also been doing some work for Nate’s mom (this and that around her house). In addition I am trying to prepare for next school year. It has been so stress free and I love it! Wow, this is probable getting pretty long, huh? Well, I don’t want to bore anyone so I will end this delightful post. Hope you enjoyed!

We have a blog

So, I thought I would give this blog thing a try. It has taken me about 15 minutes just to figure out how to post a message...so there are really no promises on this thing. But I wanted to give it a try. This may be my only post because I don't even know how to get back to where I am at now to add things to it. Let's hope I get that one figured out sometime. All I'm say is that I am in trouble because there is no spell checker on this thing and so I hope you can make out what I am saying...most of the time :)
