Family Night!

{Thanks to everyone that commented on my last post!

 It did make me happy!}

 

 

Last night we went to a magical little place called the Pumpkin Patch.

 

 

We got to take a hay ride out to the patch!

We all had such a fun time being there together!

Birthday Girl!

Our little sweetie turned one on Saturday the 22nd!

We had a fun day together as a little family and then we

invited some friends over for cake and ice cream in the evening.

We are so excited she is one now!

We got her a little people doll house we found on ksl!

And a little baby doll.

She is growing and learning so fast right now.

Just in the last few weeks her vocabulary is exploding!

She will repeat all kinds of words! Is is only about 20 pounds.

 She is {mostly} sleeping through the night!!!

She has 3 teeth in and 2 that have poked through.

She is quite the mamas girl!

We sure love our Katie Lou!!

 

 

I was pretty proud of myself for making this cake!

I saw it on pinterest of course!

 

I don't think she really ate much of it.

She just played in it and threw it all over :)

 

Of course we did some photo shoots. 

We had to do it in two parts because she was pretty grumpy!

I got this dress when she was about 6 months old

 and I have been saving it for her birthday!

 

Here is a good shot of her teeth!

 

 

 So, I haven't gotten any comments for a long time...

it would really make my day if you would just say "hi"

or "I saw your post" or "You have the cutest baby in the whole world".

3 years old

Well our little monkey, Spercer-roo, turned 3 years old on September 9th.

We spent the day with family and had a good time.

Not to brag or anything, but he is one of the smartest 3 year olds that I know.

He can count to 20 {usually getting a little lost around 17 and

then picking things up again around 19}.

He knows all his letters and the sounds they make.

He is a good brother {most of the time ;}

He LOVES going to our little neighborhood preschool twice a week.

He loves to dig! That kid could dig all day long!

He loves tractors, monster trucks and pretty much anything with wheels!

He loves Super Why, Backyardigans, Bob the Builder and Thomas!

He loves to play and tease with his Daddy.

He is my little helper and one of the biggest blessings in my life!

Happy birthday little man, we love you!

11 months old

My little sweet heart is 11 months old. I can't believe she will be one next month! How did that happen? She brings me such deep joy, I am so greatful for my little katie-lou!

 

I took these pictures of her in front of my mom's flower garden. Kaitlin loved the flowers and I could hardly get her to look at me for more than half a second.
